The trail is 1.5 miles long. It takes about 1.5 to 3 hours.This easy, very level trail constructed along an old railroad bedand wide enough to walk 4 abreast.
Go on Main ST.Fairfield, On the left pass Joseph Clthing Store. Come to a 4 way intersection with lights. Turn right,cross over the Kennbec River on 3 bridggs. Top of the Hill there is a intersection with lights. Turn right on Benton Avenue.Turn right on Ahsen Fams Trailer Park Road.P ack at the end.(Lock car vandals have strie in the pass.)Walk down the hill. Turn lefT.Kiosk on the rightwalk to the 1/2mile marker.You will come to two red benches.A tin sign-no motorized vechiles.Up the path 33 steps on your left clump of 4 Birches- Treasure hidden in the crotch.
