Park in the lower parking lot. Take the main trail down to the beach and cross the foot bridge over the railroad tracks. Walk North on the trail that parallels the beach, past the bronze statue and picnic tables. Right after you pass through the field of blackberry bushes, turn left on another narrow sandy trail. When you come to an open sandy spot and see a fire ring, turn left on a short trail down to the beach. At the end of this trail, among the green grass and bushes, there is a large burnt log on the left side. Look under the log, on the South end.
