Upon entering the trail, you will come to a split in the trail. Bear to the left. After several hundred feet there will be a second split in the trail, one that goes off to the left, and one that cuts through a giant, fallen pine tree. Choose the right path. Follow the path down the dirt half-pipe. The trail now overlooks the small river to the right. Follow the trail downhill until the bank is only a few feet above the water. Look on the right bank, just off of the trail for a large, hollow branch. It will point northish. To be certain it is the rigth one, stand at the end of the log closest to the path, and turn around. Look up, there you will see a tree broken about forty feet up, where the log fell from. Search inside the log for the letterbox.
