Go to the town where you'll find groves of pine. The Interstate going north from the Burg will get you to the exit of 100. Turn right and follow the road about 3 miles and when you reach the traffic light, you'd be right if you'd turn in that direction. Continue East for approximately 2 miles and turn left to get to this body of water. Continue your drive until you reach a parking lot. This is where you will begin your hunt.
Park and walk towards the lake and take in the view. To your left you will find a trail marked "Boardwalk to the Waterfall". Follow this trail to the bridge and cross at the waterfall. You will see to your right a stone pillar. Walk through the grass, up the hill past the bench on what looks like an old trail. Proceed up and around the clump of trees on your left till you see a picnic table. You have arrived!!! Look to your left and you will see a big old split tree. You will find what you seek .... within easy reach.
