The School House Letterbox is in Sceneca Park. Take 77 S. from 70.
Turn left off of 77 and take that road through Buffalo. Continue on to the Sceneca Watershed Dam. The Dam Bait Store will be on the left. You will turn right and travel across the dam. Following that road keep going until you come to the park entrance. Turn left to enter the park. You will go through a gate house. They may ask where you're going and I have told them about the box, but over time that will probably be forgotten. Stay on the same road until you see the beach on your left. The Vacation Cabins sign will be shortly after that. Turn right onto the road at the Vacation Cabins sign. Stay on this small road untill it deadends at the cabins. Drive to the very end of the road and park. Walk up the path into the woods. There are signs for paths. You want to turn right at the Overlook sign and travel up a hill. Follow the path about 1/4 mile to a small bridge over a creek bed. (do not take the outerloop path). Cross the bridge and take the steep, narrow path up the bank on the otherside. Once at the top, turn right and you will cross some cleared road area. You may see some ATV's here, be careful. Directly in front of you should be an abandoned 1910 school house. The roof is caving in and I am not sure how you will find the building. Face the school front and then walk along the left side of the building to the left back corner. Ther letterbox is in an opening in the wood siding. Hope you can find it, ok.
The school house was built for the children of the original landowners.
