Arizona State Museum
The Arizona State Museum on the campus of the University of Arizona holds the largest and most comprehensive whole-vessel collection of southwestern pottery in the world and is one of the nation's most significant cultural resources.
Spanning 2000 years of life in the unique environments of the American desert Southwest and northern Mexico, the collection of 20,000 reflects almost every cultural group in the region.
You can view the pots in person or take a virtual gallery tour,http://www.statemuseum.arizona.edu/exhibits/pproj/index.asp
To locate the letterbox, start at the main gate of the UA campus at Park Ave. and University Blvd. Walk east past the rose bushes. Follow the first sidewalk north under the Olive Trees. The State Museum will be the large brick building on your right. Make your way to lucky light post #13. Carefully remove the plate at the base of the light post to find the box. The campus is a busy place so please beware.
