I was in Boise for a visit and introduced letterboxing to my two young boys. This box is being placed by my son, "The Tracker" with his first carving.
Follow the clues and enjoy your day.
Level of Difficulty: Easy. But is on the greenbelt so stealth is required.
Take Park Blvd to Walnut Street. (Be sure to be in the second lane from the left as this is the only lane that will allow you to stay on Park Blvd.) Turn South on Walnut Street and continue past the MK Nature Center to a parking lot behind a gray two story building with the street number 753.
If you walk to the south past the gray building, you will find yourself on the Boise Greenbelt.
When you come to the intersection, turn right, towards the overpass. Proceed to the NE 1.3 marker and stand on top of it. From this point, take 20 steps forward and stop next to the fallen tree on your left. Go and stand on top of fallen tree. Directly in front of you, you will spy the remaining part of the tree which is still standing. At the base of this ruin, to the right, burried deep inside you will find your smile hidden under leaves and deadfall.
Please rehide well, as this is a high traffic area.
As with all Tow Troll, Troll Keeper, and now "The Tracker" letterboxes, first to find gets a gold coin.
