This is the first letterbox placed by the Anderson Family. To find it, you will first need to locate the Friedrich Warbler letterbox hidden in Friedrich Wildnerness Park on I-10W off the the Camp Bullis Road Exit.
Once you locate the Friedrich Warbler Letterbox, continue on the Forest Range trail until you reach the entry bridge to the Level 3 water trail. Follow this trail until you reach the intersection of Juniper Barrens trail and the Level 4 water trail. Take the Level 4 trail. Continue past the main loop trail up the hill. You will eventually see a number 34 post. Facing the post, turn to your right (or 64 degrees) to see a tree with 4 trunks protruding from the base. You will find the Armadillo letterbox here.
Once you finish with this letter box, continue on the level 4 water trail to visit the windmill.
