There are many forms of friendship. A friend once used a quote attributed to Albert Camus –
Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead.
Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow.
Just walk beside me and be my friend.
We all need that person who will walk beside us. Someone who will give us love, care, laughter, understanding, direction, hope, acceptance, forgiveness, healing, peace and joy. TrailMix and
Yankeesfan hope all who find this box walk side by side with a friend. This box is dedicated to the
Friend who introduced us to letterboxing.

Directions:

This box is located on Mill St. in Shelton along the Gristmill Trail. This is a very letterbox friendly trail!

Clues:

Park at the small parking area on Mill St. Enter the trail by the kiosk. It is a white blazed trail. Walk down toward the Far Mill River. You will arrive at an area with a bench and garbage can (keep Shelton clean!) Next, take the trail to your left (follow the white blazes). Walk along the river, with it at your right. Soon, you will come to a stone wall on your left. Walk into the woods with the stone wall on your right. You will pass at least 2 other boxes (bunch-a-balloon and BINGO )(if I missed any others-sorry!) When you come to a large oak (I’m pretty sure it’s an oak) with the stone wall right next to it, that is the new location for the “Friendship” box. It has a flat stone on top.
