You've been to Hollywood, you've been to Redwood, now try mining for this clue!
This clue was inspired by the Treadwell Mine ruins on Douglas Island and Neil Young. A compass may be helpful for this clue.
Starting on the sandy beach on Douglas, head toward the pumphouse that still stands in the water (southeast). Look for a park bench on your right that faces the channel. From this spot walk approximately 95 steps to the letterbox site. When you are at the right spot, the pump house will be at a bearing of 77 degrees from the letterbox site.
Look around the tree trunks, you'll need to mine a little for it.
