I needed a place to plant this 3rd and final box of the series. Clyde Holiday State Park Rest Area became the perfect site to plant this little guy.

If you were heading to John Day (going East on HWY 126), you would surely need to take a break and stretch your legs, walk the dog, let the kids run, have a picnic, and/or attend to any other important matters. So turn into the day use area of the Clyde Holiday State Park.

I am sure you will need to take a little walk around. Why not walk over to the sign at the East end of the parking lot? If muggles are about, snapping a lovely picture of the sign would be a great thing to do in order to prevent curious minds from being curious.

When the coast is clear make sure you are still facing the sign. Do you see the set of three? It seems as though two are closer together. Walk to this pair. Find the second's base and look beneath rock and bark.

Be sure to hide our little friend back better than you found him. He has travelled from the Southwest and would like to stay for awhile.

Happy Hunting!
