In God’s Hands Letterbox
This letterbox is located in what Montville/Uncasville. Not sure exactly what most would put it under.
Many years ago I was blessed to know a girl named Katie. I looked up to her so much, sang in the worship team with her at church, listened to her wisdom over devotions in youth group, unfortunately her life was cut tragically short and was not able to show the world her true talent. I remember feeling so lost and shocked and eventually when I turned 18 I wanted to honor her in some way. So I had a tattoo designed of an angel that says “In God’s Hands.” And had it placed on my leg. I hope you enjoy finding it.
Make your way to St. Patrick Cemetery, by Smurfit Stone Paper Mill. Turn in right before the black fencing starts on your left. There are a few different cemeteries here so be sure you find the right one. Take your immediate right as you enter the cemetery. Make your way around to the back of the cemetery passing a statute of what I believe is St. Patrick. You will see a lil dirt/stone pull off on your right that brings you to the perimeter fence. Park here. If you look to your left you will see 3 stones labeled Kobelski. If you look to your right you will see a black flat stone marked Katie Elizabeth Kobelski. Say Hi to Katie for me ! If you look directly in front of your vehicle, you will see a small tree just past the fence w a rock at its base, look under here to find In God’s Hands!
