heading west on hwy 20, travel to down town winthrop. make your way to the 4 way stop, do not turn left on 20, keep straight ahead following signs to Pearrygin lake. after less then 3 miles, turn right toword Pearrygin lake on bear creek road. pass silverline resort, pass pearrygin lake park, continue on this road untill it becomes a dirt road, continue to large roofed sign by the WA dept of fish and wildlife sign.

look to your left, take the dirt road, park at or by shooting range. the road will probobly be close at the range due to a huge mud slide that covered over 40 acres with 100,000 cubic feet of mud. any way walk for about 10 minutes, when you see a cluster of white burch trees on your right, look up at about 1:00 to see a large rock covered in white mold. when you get to this boulder you will notice a smaller rock just below it with shrub trees growing out behind it.

you will find the box behind it, between the rock and tree, as a side note there will be a wooden lodge pole fence off to the lest before you acende up the hill, @ 30 feet.

the views from this area are to die for, you can bring your camera but it won't do justice, continue down the road @ 1/4 mile to see mud slide.

The on line name of this box is the look out wolf pack, the real name is in the box, better that way, look up tom white winthrop and you will understand.
