Cemetery Search II Oct. 3, 2003
In honor of my 1st anniversary of Letterboxing
Up the road on Route 63 another search begins for thee,
Start at the house where the people once prayed,
And kept the dead bodies before entering the grave.
Follow the road straight til a stone house you behold,
don’t breath too deeply lest you should choke,
For fragments of bodies arise in that smoke.
Make a quick u-turn lest you should be found,
For the ghosts of the dead may be lurking around.
Pace back your steps and to the left you must bear,
Take a deep breath for your almost there.
Quick to the right and a left once more,
If you see Heavens you’ve gone too far.
Look for the eagle high on his perch,
Once you are there it won’t get much worse.
At the base of the trail where the eagle does wait,
Climb up the stairs and count 28.
From Hall you will follow a trail that goes steep,
At the top of the hill your treasure May be.
Walk to the right about 28 paces ahead,
The tree you are seeking will surely be dead.
Stamp in the book and please cover well,
This is a well traveled path on the road to HELL.
