These letterboxes are located behind the Lake Waramaug campground in New Preston, Connecticut

We have hidden 2 letterboxes on the quick hike.
There are two bathhouses at the top of the campground. Walk along the gravel road to the second bathroom. You will see a water pump. Look to your right and you will notice a trail leading into the woods. Take this trail. A short distance into the woods, you will notice an enormous rock. Climb the big rock all the way to the top. At the top, the rocky trail veers to the left. Follow the trail over the mossy rocks until you see a tree growing out of the top of the rock. Look left- 2 trees form a V. Climb over the mossy rock- at the base of the V tree under the rock you will find the "Enjoy Today" letterbox covered with sticks. Stamp in and rehide the letterbox under the sticks.
*****NOTE: If you are the first one to find this letterbox, we placed a hitchhiker inside. Please stamp in with the hitchiker and take the hitchhiker with you and bring it to another location. Log into www.atlasquest.com and let Arf! know that you found the Vertigo Hill letterbox.
To find the second letterbox, climb back on the rock and follow it back to the beginning. When you get to the trail, bare left onto the trail and walk 63 paces. You will see 2 moss covered rocks on your right. The Butterfly box is hidden behind the top rock under the ledge.
