3/20/12 I have picked up these boxes since it seems they were becoming very exposed. Hoping to replant by beginning of summer. I am not able to find the box with the tractor, if anyone finds it please take with you and email me! If not I will just recarve and replant ASAP.

I've been wanting to do a series for our family for awhile now so after a lot of brainstorming I decided to do a family train since growing up my brother and I were surrounded with trains because of our fathers love for them. And now my brother is very much involved with model trains. What I have done is put the whole "train" in the 1st box. What you will want to do is stamp the engine once the flatcar 5 times and then finally the caboose. In the 1st box their is an example of what your train should look like. Each box you find will go on their own individual flatcar (2 per flatcar) You don't have to do it this way you can stamp each individual stamp alone if you would like.

Head to Devil's Hopyard and find the area w the covered bridge. Head over the covered bridge and take the trail to the left that follows the water upstream. Look for a fallen tree on your right w a flat rock behind it. Make your way behind this rock, under a flat stone you will find the 1st letterbox w the train. Stamp the cargo car 5 times. Inside the pill bottle you will find an example of how you should stamp the  train.

A short ways down the trail directly after the short trail on your left take  6 steps continuing along the river and look to your right. You will see another large rock with a tree to the left. Go Here. Where the tree and rock meet under some leaves you will find mom and dad. For dads sailboat make the sails blue and the hull of the boat brown. Make moms yarn yellow and her knitting needles blk.

Continue on the trail heading upstream not too far and you will see a 3 sister tree on the left side of the trail. From the 3 sister tree take a reading of 295 degrees you will see a 5 sister tree w a few branches weaving in as well. In the middle of these very sm trees you will find Alyssa and Kiana under leaves and bark. You can make Alyssas easel any color you would like I made my blue. And make Kianas penguin blk.

Go to the tree a few steps down the trail and stand at the tree w orange marker on it. Take 17 steps down the trail and look to your left and find a tree w a sm cave, look here to find Gina and Gary behind a few sm stones. Make Ginas ladybug red and then color in the spots blk. Make Garys John Deere Tractor green of course.

About 3 yards down the trail take the 1st left, take about 3 steps down the trail and look towards the water to find a 2 sister tree. In the "crotch" of the tree behind numerous twigs you will find John and Jen. Please make sure you put as many sticks back as you can. For Jens moon and stars make them yellow and for Johns Patriots symbol please make it red and blue in the appropriate places.

Head back to the main trail and continue upstream shortly till you see a mini 6in waterfall. To the right look for the stump that is very brittle in the center you will find Dylan and Auntie. Make Dylans teddybear a light brown and make Aunties Camera blk.

Hope you enjoyed finding Our Family Train. Looking forward to possibly adding onto our train as more kids are born in the future ;) no pressure John and Jen.
