This is a nice drive and a pretty 3 mile loop. Take exit 55 off of I-5 drive through town on hwy.199. Just pasted the town of Wonder(about 16 miles out of grants pass) take a right on Water`s Creek rd. Drive about 2 miles. The last .05 is gravel, still a very nice road. When you come to the trail head on your right parking on your left.

Follow the trail (staying to your left the whole time. You will come to a sign that says HIKER ONLY take that trail. Once you come to two bridges w/a bench in the middle CAT IN THE HAT is right behind the downed log right behind the bench.

ps: you a about half on the trail so you can go back the way you came or continue on the trail . It is a loop!
