Lourdes of Litchfield Shrine is located at 83 Montfort Road in Litchfield. From Fairfield County, take Route 8 North to exit 42. Take a left off exit ramp. This is Route 118. About 5 miles down the road on the left is Montfort Road.
Clues
Go to the fifth station – Simon helps Jesus carry His cross. Facing the station, go to the left of the station towards the brook. You will see a 2 sister tree. Behind and to the right of the tree are slanted boulders that run along the edge of the hill. The box is tucked under these boulders. You do not have to follow the boulders up the hill to get the box. Please rehide the way it was found.
If you have the time, pray or meditate at each station. It is a peaceful, quiet place with beautiful stations.
