Note: This Box is located on an island in the lake and you will need a boat to find it.
1. Begin at Centennial Grove in Essex.
2. Follow the hill down to the public beach.
3. Launch your canoe or kayak and head straight (South) towards the small island.
4. When approaching the island from the Centennial Grove beach, pull your boat up to the small beach on the right side of the island.
5. After getting out of your boat (be careful there is lots of glass!) walk 6 feet forward and then follow the rocks to the right. You will see a dead, fallen tree.
6. Sitting on the tree, facing your boat, you will see a cluster of 3 large(ish) rocks located next to some shrubbery.
7. Look among the crevices of these rocks to find our letter box!
This box was place by the CITs at Camp Dory in Essex. We named it "Grown Ups Island" because part of the film Grown Ups was shot on this island. We hope you enjoy finding it!
