The Backyard Friends are along the Jordan River Parkway, near Gardner Village. Gardner Village is a little shopping village with restored old houses that have been relocated to this spot. The focal point is the old flour mill that was owned by Archibald Gardner, and now houses Archibald's Restaurant and Country Furniture and Gifts. The village decorations change seasonally.

Gardner Village is at: 1100 W. 7800 S.

Park along the east end of the shopping area - east of the old mill. There is a black gravel slope with a railroad track along the top.

#1 POUCH:
Follow the white fence at the base of the slope going towards 7800 S. and go left (north) to a rocky area with a sign welcoming you to the Jordan River Parkway, and a billboard for Gardner Village. At the north pole of this billboard is a red rock between 2 gray rocks. Check under the gray rock on the right (north).

#2 POUCH
Go south on the bike trail, under 7800 S. At the “T” in the trail, check at the base of the tree in the left curve for the pouch.

#3 POUCH
Continue on across the bridge and head toward the parking lot to the north. Closest to the parking lot, between the last 2 green picnic tables along the river, is a Russian Olive tree, which is closer to the path. Go just south of the tree toward the river, to the large red rock, and check around back.

Please zip all bags closed, be discreet and rehide well.

**NOTE: You can park in the parking lot across the street (east of the river), and find them in reverse order. It’s about ½ mile round trip, give or take; depending on where you park.
