Mystical Fairie carved by Camp Fire Lady
Planted by Pine Tree , Wolfy and PE Sneakers.
This is the DORWART Trail and eventually it will connect the Lions soccer Field trails to the Coney Rock Trails .
Make your way to Mulberry Rd. Coming from Chaffeeville The trail head will be on your right just before the road curves to the right . If you see house 225 on the left then you have gone too far.
Enter Trail . There is a brook n your right . The trail is marked with white blazes. THIS IS A BRAND NEW TRAIL !!!!! So be careful as the trial is not well worn as of yet.
Very shortly the trail will turn left uphill ( there is a double blazed tree that is more towards the brook so this was a bit confusing ) Go left before the double blazed tree away from the stream. You will have to CROSS over a stone wall to see more white blazes. Now you will be following a stone wall on our left. Keep going !!!!!
Eventually you will walk through a small pine section .
Keep going your next landmark is a rusted old car door with the other parts thrown in a hole behind this part.
The trail goes left and you will walk between 2 stone walls. WE BELIEVE THAT THE TRAIL MUST GO RIGHT TOWARDS THE LARGE ROTTEN TREE THAT HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE TRAIL . ( We walked up the hill on the cart path but did not see any more blazes)
From the old log rotting in the path take a reading of 240 degrees to another rotting log /tree . Walk 26 steps to look under this fallen log/tree where the log touches a rock. Here you will find a GREAT carving by Camp Fire Lady .
