Ozaukee County has many hidden treasures to enjoy. Ehlers Park is one of those little gems. Its a scenic park nestled along the Milwaukee river and County W outside of Saukville. This letterbox journey will take you for a nice short hike along the river, great for small children, or someone looking for an easy find.
You will need to take County W north in the town of Saukville. Or if you are coming from the north west take Hwy 57 until you see County W on your right. Look for the small brown Ehlers Park sign with yellow arrow. Enter the park at the entrance across from Mink Ranch Road. Take first left and drive until the road ends with a NO MOTOR VEHICLE sign and 6 large boulders. Park here. Head away from the river counting 5 boulders. You should be facing north east, see the large multi trunked tree? It is about 10 paces ahead. Walk around the back left side of these trees and look inside. Please return under branches to secure after stamping.
