The "Bobcats" letterbox is located in Ramon Lucio Park in San Marcos, near the campus of Texas State College (Southwest Texas State). The park features ball fields, walking paths and picnic facilities.

Directions:
From I-35 South, exit #204B(due to construction, may need to take exit #205) and stay on the feeder road until it reaches the park on the right. Turn in the 1st entry in front of ball field. Take a quick right and go aroung to the parking area on the right (you will see "Pavilion C" picnic shelter off to the north east.

To the Letterbox:
Take the path going northeast. Starting from the large oak tree on the right of path, go past Pavilion C, and stay on right fork of path, for 170 paces from the tree to a brige. Cross over to trail junction. From the sign on the right ("No diving") go 105 paces on the right fork of the looping path. Now leave the path for 8 paces to the east to a picnic pad, and stand next to the trash can. Go 20 paces at 150 degrees (southeast)to a large tree. Walk to the right (southwest) side of the tree. Box is at base, in a cavity, covered by tree limbs and bark. Be sure to re-cover it well due to exposed view.
