## down for maintenance ##

Requa is the site of a beautiful and old Native American settlement and it’s on a Yurok reservation. There are an abundance of birds, wildlife, fishing and hiking trails. To find the Requa Pelican (of which there are many in the flesh and feather) drive a couple miles past the golden bears at Klamath to Requa Road. If you come to the Trees of Mystery you’ve gone too far. Continue on Requa Road past the Inn and maybe a mile or so until you find parking on your left for the Coastal Trail and an overlook. Take the Coastal Trail maybe half a mile until you come to the first bridge. Walk across it. Under the left side resting on a concrete slab should be your Requa Pelican.

Please rehide carefully and thanks for coming.
