Timothy has successfully battled through eighth grade and has now graduated to high school. To celebrate his victory, he designed this series of five boxes, based on the popular video game, HALO 3, where epic battles are fought on artificial worlds shaped like rings. The series highlights five local high schools, each of which has a running track.
NO BOXES HAVE BEEN HIDDEN ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.
CLUES:
Shelton High School is located on the end of Meadow Street closest to the Echo Hose Station and the Police Department. Its track is located in Finn Stadium on the school grounds. Drive past the school entrance to the traffic light at the intersection with Shelton Avenue. Take a left and then your first left will provide you parking at the Shelton Lakes Recreational Path Trailhead. Enjoy the short walk through the woods until you cross Meadow Street again.
Walking a short way down the paved path, you will come upon a round boulder in the woods on your left. Look past this boulder toward the stream to see a very large oak tree. To the right of the oak is a fallen giant and a stone wall at its base. The HALO 3- alpha box is hidden under the top stones at the fallen tree end of the wall. PLEASE replace the stones so that they completely conceal the box
