Full title:
"Snakes. Why's it always gotta be snakes." This is from my famous movie lines series and the line is of course from Indiana Jones.

** Access to the Hilltop overlook is closed in Winter

Difficulty: Easy- short walk across grass. (slight slope just inside the woods).

This box is in the Franklin County park. From I-74, take the Brookville exit (first exit across the border from Ohio). Go North. You'll pass the Little Historic Baptist church, so you might want to look for clues of that name :-)
When you see the Arby's, take the next road to the left at the traffic light (Blue Creek Rd). Go across the tracks/bridge. The park is a few tenths of a mile on the right. When you enter, stay to the left and look for the square green sign that says "Hilltop overlook" It's a one way street. Go up to the overlook and park in front of the shelter on the right. Watch for wildlife like turtles, hawks, deer, and pileated woodpeckers (I saw all of those when I placed the box). Note: this park has some really nice, private camping spots.

From the Overlook Shelter, find the southern most post of the shelter. The shelter does throw off the compass, so walk a bit toward the street, find 243 degrees and go that direction till you see number 113.

From 113, go 230 degrees to a thigh high hollow stump. From that stump, go 280 degrees for 10.5 paces to a shorter stump that makes a nice table.

The box is on the back side of the stump under a rock. Please wedge it back in place so critters can't get it out. Thanks!
