RE-ESTABLISHED ON 8/16/11

FamiLee of 4 has spent many a day fishing & frolicing at the Graeagle Mill Pond. Whether reeling in a nice trout, kayaking across the calm water, or simply reading a good book amidst the fresh air and scenery, time spent at the pond is always a welcome treat.

To begin your quest for this letterbox, travel to the far end of the gravel parking lot that is adjacent to Graeagle Store (located on Hwy 89 in the middle of town). From the parking lot, take a walk across the large grassy area adjacent to the pond. Continue across the grassy area, past the porta-potties, until you locate the gravel trail on your left that is marked by two wood posts.

Take this trail and enjoy the views as you walk around the north side of the pond, until you reach the first green bench. From the bench, pace approximately 20 steps until you notice a tree on your left -- not a pine tree -- that is shaped like a "V". At the base of this "twin" tree, you will find a hollowed little stump that holds the treasure you seek.

When you are finished, be sure to bury the box under the loose pine needles and bark so that it is not visible.
