Go through the playground in Short Pump Park to the big kid swings. Behind those swings, follow the trail that leads into the woods to a tree with a carpet of moss below it and take a right. Follow the trail across a small bridge (be careful of alligators and thorn bushes!). Keep following the trail, ducking under a bent oak sapling. You will come to a small clearing, but continue straight on the trail. Hop over a fallen tree. Pass the Southern Red Oak on your right and pass over three small fallen logs crossing your path. Look to your right and you should see a 12’ tall stump of a tree off of the path. Go toward that stump and then keep walking past it, with the baseball field on your right. Continue toward the wooden fence that contains the cell phone tower until you pick up the trail again on your left. Look for 2 sets of twin trees very close together. Between them you will find what you seek.
