About the Root Beer Series
The Root beer Series is a celebration of everything Root Beer! From the large corporations that brew it to the little guys down the street! If you are interested in carving and or planting a Root Beer Series box in Northwest Illinois, please contact me.
The Clues
When you arrive at Oakdale park in the main parking lot. Walk past the fire pit. Find the big green sign talking about The Savanna. From there Pass #20, then #19. Follow the curve. Pass the campfire ring. You will reach a tall but hollow burnt stump, stop at it's base. From there take three paces back toward the way you came from. Your bottle of Sioux City Sarsaparilla is hiding behind the log on your right behind some debris. Please reseal all bags, the box and hide better than you found it.
Oakdale Nature Preserve is 130+ acres and is in need of more boxes feel free to plant some while you're there!
