Trail difficulty: very easy, a paved path

The answers to the questions in the clues for this webbox are located in Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in western Washington, DC. Letterboxes are not allowed to be physically placed in national parks and national monuments and national memorials administered by the U. S. National Park Service. So, I have created this webbox. You must actually visit the area of the clues; however, you need to go to the Web to obtain your finders stamp and sign the log book.

Go to the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. It is located southwest of The Mall area and on the west side of the Tidal Basin.

From the front entrance of the Memorial, walk past the bookstore and look on the rock wall to the left and on the back side of the book store. Engraved on the wall is a quote beginning with the words “Men and nature must work”. In the third line, what is the third word ______?

Continue walking through the Memorial and look for the quote engraved on a rock wall that begins with the words “The structure of world peace”. In the fifth line, what is the last word ______?

To create the mystery word, put the word from the second question on the end of the word from the first question (without spaces). Paste the mystery word into this URL (replacing the question marks “???” with the mystery word) (use all lower case letters):

http://nostalgia.esmartkid.com/???.html

Now, plug/paste/type the new URL into your web browser and you will have completed your search for the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial Webbox.

Please record your find at www.letterboxing.org/ .
