Each summer, we get together in Bourne with our cousins. One of the kids' favorite games to play is Doggy Doggy Where's Your Bone? They can play this game for hours. We thought this would be a good theme for our first letterbox planting, and for my first stamp carving. Thanks to The Mad Doctors for their help!

Clue:
Buzzards Bay is a village in Bourne. Find its Post Office, located at 220 Main Street. Behind the post office is a series of trails that lead to the Cape Cod Canal. Park at the trail head and begin your walk on the trail. At the first clearing, follow the trail that heads left. Ahead, you will see a big boulder on the right, and the trail will narrow. Within sight of this boulder will be a path on the right. Take this path. Don't forget to say "Hello!" to Sam as you pass by. Continue on this path (it will become sandy at times) until you come to a T intersection. Take a right. Follow this path to the Cape Cod Canal. Admire the view and watch the boats go by.

Begin heading back the way you came. Take the first left and follow this path, parallel to the canal. Turn right, off the path, after the 4th evergreen tree on the right. Ahead on the left will be a lone oak tree in the middle of a small clearing. Standing with your back to this tree and with the canal on your left, ahead of you will be two oak trees. Look through these trees and you will see an evergreen tree next to a 4 ft stump.

You will find what you are looking for 2-3 feet to the right of this evergreen tree, under a rock and bark.
