The Southington Library has an amazing children's section staffed by wonderful Librarians. They have allowed us to plant a letterbox in their Library. Here are the clues you will need to locate it:
The letterbox has a call number.
To find the first blank of the call number, head to the quilt that is hanging on the wall to the right of the Children's Librarian's Desk. The fifth hand drawn panel on the top row has the artist's name on it. The first blank is the first letter of the artist's name.
To fill in the second blank, find the large wooden clock on the wall. How many mice are climbing on it?
To find the number for the third blank, head to the wooden house that doubles as a puppet theater. Count the number of flowers that are in the two vases on the house.
For the fourth blank, count the number of fairies on the castle mural in the play room. Count carefully, some may be hard to find.
How many bears greet you when you enter the library? That's the fifth blank.
The sixth blank is the number of chairs that are facing the puppet theater.
Here is a template that you can use. The final three letters are prefilled for you.
______ ______ ______ ______ . ______ ______ T R O
You now have the call number for the letterbox. Bring your multi-colored ink if you have it and use as much discretion as possible. The Librarians are aware of it, but most patrons would not be. Also, please return it to the correct location so it can be found by the next hunter.
Don't forget to check for any other boxes that may be nearby!!
Happy 'boxing!
