Originally planted by WimpyGirls and adopted in March 2008 by HLRG Wood Thrush.

Easy walk, around 1 1/2 miles round trip

Box # 1
Park at Pilgrim Hills Park off of Randolph Road. Take the paved path left of the building past the basketball court and tennis court. After passing the baseball field, leave the paved path and follow the Pilgrim's Way Nature Trail on the left. You'll pass a brown post with a white triangle on the right, then come to a plain brown post, also on the right. Count 10 steps from this post and take the small path on the left to the tree on the peninsula. Look in the huge hole at the tree's base for Box # 1

Box # 2
Return to the trail and continue on until path splits after steep(muddy)passage by the big rocks. Stay to the right, going up the 2 steps and passing 3 more plain brown posts on the right. When you come to a fork, take the left path. When you reach the end of the pebbly beach area on the left, you will see a large 2-in-1 to the right. Continue on the the next large 2-in-1 on the right and look in the hole between the branches for Box #1's better half.
