Clues (relocated 3.18.12)
This is America, and we are free to shop wherever we choose. But I happen to feel that it is a fine thing to shop American, when we can. I salute the Big Y chain of supermarkets in our area for consistently extending themselves in service to our communities. A special effort is made to hire our high school students and our seniors who area struggling with boredom and a fixed income. They consistently make an effort to provide working hours for mothers needing a second income, but are rrestricted by school schedules. They encourage their employees to march in our local parades. They support Green Strategies and many charitable causes.
CLUE: Find your way to the intersection of Routes 25 and 6 in Newtown, CT. The locals call this "The Flagpole." Head north on RT25 to the traffic light where 25 and 6 separate. Continue straight, following RT6W. As you cross the town line from Newtown to Bethel, the supermarket in on your left. Pull into the parking lot and take a left, heading to the embankment that is all piled stones. Turn right, following this embankment to where the parking lot ends at a guardrail. Park here. There is a black "Atlas" chain link fence behind the guardrail. Walk along it with the black fence ON YOUR RIGHT. After you have passed two sections, you will see below your feet and to the left, a big black drainpipe. On top of the drainpipe is a pile of stones. The Insecticon Letterbox is hidden under the stones. PLEASE HIDE THE BOX carefully, so I don't have to carve the stamp again!
