As children we grew up in Salisbury and joined Girl Scouts. We have many fond memories of meetings, events, badge work, selling cookies for $.50 a package, and campouts. We chose this spot because our first camping experience was at Wack Forest. Oh, the memories!! Our Junior Girl Scout uniform looked just like this one.

Please take notice there is now a No Trespassing sign posted at the entrance. You may pull over and park, but please do not go down the path.

*** The GPS coordinates and google maps may be incorrect. Please use our directions.***

Directions:
Lakeville, CT
From the 4 way intersection of route 41 and 112(Hotchkiss School), drive east on 112 for approximately 2.2 miles. You will drive past Old Farms Nursery, Red Mountain Road, and then 45 miles an hour sign. Just past a Do Not Pass sign, on the right, is the parking spot on an abandoned road with a chain across it.

Falls Village, CT
From the intersection of route 7 and 112, drive west on route 112 for 2.1 miles. You will drive past 2 entrances to Lime Rock Race Track, Salmon Kill Road, and Wells Hill Road. I strongly suggest you drive past the parking spot and turn around at Red Mountain Road, which will be on your left. Follow the clues from Lakeville at this point.

Extra tip:
The parking area is across the road from a house (#230) with a white fence.

Clue:
After parking, walk on the same side of the road toward two large boulders. They may be covered in vines. Stop at the end of the first one. Look into the woods for two trees with peculiar bends. We left the box between them.
