The first trip for the Hornets on the Move for the 2011-2012 school year, ended at Fire Mountain Amusement Park. This is a great park with bumper boats, putt-putt golf, go-karts and a huge arcade. The kids (and yes the teachers too) had a blast.
Fire Mountain is on Hwy 155 west of Tyler. It is about 1/2 mile west of Grande Blvd. Pull into the parking lot and notice the large neon sign as you enter. Facing the sign and the park, walk to the right end of the parking lot to a light pole. The letterbox is hanging in the tree to the right of that light pole.
