This Letterbox / Geocaching-Hybrid container is located east of Lemmon Drive between Oak Lawn Ave and the North Dallas Tollway.
Travel on Douglas Ave northeast to Gilbert Avenue. Gilbert Pocket Park is a triangular shaped area between Douglas, Gilbert, and Knight Streets.
Locate the tree growing between the two large electrical / telephone boxes along the Douglas Ave side. Walk to another tree surrounded by shrubs and vines, 12 paces from the first tree, away from Douglas Ave / toward the railing that is behind the park bench.
The letterbox container will be at the base of this tree. It is a sandwich-sized plastic tupperware-type box covered with camo tape, artificial plant branches, and dead leaves from the surrounding area.
Container holds log book, Unregistered Alien rubber stamp, black ink pad, and possibly (hopefully) some Geocaching "swag" items and/or trackables.
Items barely fit into the container so please replace with log book on the bottom then ink pad at lower half of "sandwich" shape and rubber stamp at upper half.
Please replace dead leaves on top of container when you place the container back at the base of the tree.
