Growing up as a Salisbury Girl Scout it was such an honor to march every year in the Memorial Day parade. It would start by the town library and we would march to the Salisbury Cemetery to honor our fallen servicemen and women. It was always extra exciting when you were chosen to be part of the color guard. When the ceremony was over we would march back and receive a popsicle. I remember everyone wanted a root beer popsicle.
Clue:
Enter any entrance to the cemetery off route 41.
Drive back to the next road that intersects and locate the ceremonial flag pole with the eagle on top. Head east on the road across from it until you reach the Y. Go right and stop at the next intersection. Your “find” is in the corner of the hedge, on the ground.
