Took my daughter and her friends camping and letterboxing for her 11th birthday. Planted some boxes (1-3) and then the girls planted their own. We braved thunderstorms and

Starting from the C-Loop of the camp site area, take the trail towards the Activity Center. When you dead-end at the Little Oak Trail, go Northeast.
Turn West on the Big Oak Trail
Stop at the trail blaze beyond the crooked tree.
Stand, facing the blaze, and turn 180 degrees.
Take 15 paces.
Your first box is behind the tree, under a rock!

Go back to the Big Oak Trail blaze.
Continue West along the Big Oak trail unti you find a V-shaped tree that is missing one leg of its "V".
Find the trail blaze on the other side of the path.
Turn right 340 degrees (or left 20 degrees!).
Walk about 20 paces to a moss covered rise. Turn slightly right.
Walk 10 more paces to another V-shaped tree.
Look Down!

Turn left to continue to the Hawk's Reach Activity Center.
Find the Whitetail trail and continue on the Whitestail trail, crossing the bridge, and going until you find a tree that was cut in half.
At the second blaze past the cut tree, look for a V-shaped tree that is actually two different kinds of trees.(check the bark).
Go back 5 paces.
Look for a log that is perpendicular to the trail.
The box is where the log meets the trail.
#4 - the Girl's Letterbox
Start at the C-Loop, hiking toward the activity center.
Follow the trail until the deadend and then turn Northeast on Little Oak Trail.
Stop at the first trail blaze facing it.
Turn 90 degrees and take 5 paces...
Continue on up
