Part of the Halloween series of Telge Park.
This year's Halloween addition is being guarded by its master. Be cautious when entering the woods, and you know you are getting close when you here his organ play. Many scary things are about, but he controls them all with his haunting sound.
Directions:
From Hwy 290, Take the Telge exit and go right on Telge. Cross Cypress North Houston, and just after bridge over Cypress Creek go right and park in lot for Telge Park.
To the Reaper:
Walk into park, then across open area to bridge. Cross it, then go left, up and down hill, then left at Y junction. Stay on this trail for awhile, passing trail to right at the American Elm sign. Eventually you will come to a large open area. Look right and find pathway that leads to fenced area with green machine. Walk down that path to pipe and manhole cover. Continue past this for 15 more steps. Go left into the woods for 28 steps to large LIVE pine tree. He is playing on the back side. Box is under him. PLEASE PUT BACK ALL AS YOU FOUND IT!!!!
PS - Tons of dead trees in Telge park, so area may be changing quite a bit soon.
