This letterbox was placed in Memory of my Mother-In-Law who passed away from breast cancer on 6/16/2006. We chose to bury this at Mt. Misery because we have special memories there...when you find the stamp and read the logbook you will see what I mean.
Enter Mt. Misery anyway that you would like...either from Rt.49 or 138.
Park at the base of the mountain and hike up to the top. It does not matter which path you take to get to the top.
Once on top of the mountain...look for the I-hook sticking out of one of the rocks at the ledge of the mountain. With you back towards the i-hook, look for the pine tree with a blue marker and two big rocks. To your left you will see a stump. From the stump take 7 (adult) steps. This should land you at a lonely pine tree and on top of a triangle shaped rock... The box lies beneath this rock...Grab from the TOP of the triangle.
Pink Ink is in the box. Please sign the logbook and put back carefully.
