this box has retired to "all of us old geezers". Now Cool Cresent is here. Find clues on Atlasquest

I-65 to exit 65. (yes, 65 to 65) This is Murfreesboro rd/Hwy96. Go west toward downtown Franklin. Turn right on Eddy Lane. If you pass Pinkerton Park, you have gone to far. Take Eddy lane up to Fort Granger on the left. The street is between a big red building and a co-op. Drive down to the fort granger sign & park. Walk to the wooden gate. You'll see a historic walking trail marker with the number 1 on it. Walk down to the trench and turn right. walk walk walk, keep walking past the Ditch defence info station on the left. Keep walking...walk walk walk . To your right is the Fort Granger "Sally Port" info station. Read it if ya wanna. But keep on the trench trail. Watch your step going down. Okey dokey. Keep walking...walk walk walk until you come to a bench on your right. There will be a black plastic drain tube to your left-ish. From the bench, turn around, because you will walk back in the direction that you just came from. From the bench, walk 35 to 50 steps (guessing steps can be tricky) and to your left is a rotting tree stump, a tall one, about 5-6 ft tall. If there is a tree behing you to left on the trail, and a tree in front of you on the trail, you are in the right place. There are some great crevices in this rotting tree, please dont tear up the tree, & put it back excactly where you found it so it will not be visable. Also, please walk back to the bench to journal and stamp. People come around the corner very quick down here!!!

****Tip: From the bench: at 10-ish steps, tree to your right. keep counting dont start over & at 31-ish steps the rotting tree with the box is to your left. 9 or 10 more steps is just another big tree.

*****Tip: the box is a small round plastic container spray painted brown.

##########ANOTHER TIP################
ive watched a few folks try to find this. they get hung up on the "tall, 6-5ft tall tree stump". it is NOT a rotting tree on the ground. it is a TREE STUMP. there use to be a tree. most of the tree is gone. whats left is the stump. roots still in the ground. its on the hill a bit. but its kinda a tall one. its about 5-6ft tall. Hence the tall tree stump. i really hope this helps!!!################################################

Good Luck, dont be seen, and if you cant find it, let me know, Ill check on it and email you back. THaNKS!!!
