Over the last few years, many people have taken the time to find Mercy, one of our pin-ups hidden on the West Bluff at Devil’s Lake State Park. And if you’ve read that clue, you’ll know that Mercy showed up one evening, on the run from some unseen, unidentified being.
Well, after all of this time, that mystery has been answered. Mercy’s pursuer, captured in the stamp titled “Merciless”, can be found by climbing the East Bluff at Devil’s Lake. Just like Mercy, Merciless entered our world through Devil’s Doorway, and that’s where you’ll want to begin your search.
Walk westward along the top of the bluff, following the East Bluff Trail down toward the beach at the north end of the lake. Soon, you’ll reach a bench dedicated to honeymooners. From that bench, take 32 steps, stopping before you get to the steps leading down. Turn to your right, and you’ll see a small tree trunk lying across a rock. On the back side (east side) of the rock, you’ll find Merciless, covered by leaf debris.
So please stamp in (with red ink, please!). Re-hide well, and drop us a note – on Atlasquest, or at email@example.com!
