PLEASE READ AND SOLVE THE CLUES YOU CAN BEFORE LEAVING HOME

Friend,
Once you start this search there is no going back. Not for fear that you will be eaten by ogres or trolls, although there are ogres and trolls and even dragons where you are going, or for fear that you will contract some mysterious malady. Rather you will be compelled by your own curious nature to complete this quest. You may even become addicted to questing and thus spend hours of your life, at possible peril to your body and mind, completing other such quests. In truth there are hundreds of expeditions just waiting for the bright mind and curious spirit to discover them.
To find todays treasure you may need one of these:

I can run, but I cannot walk
I know everything, but cannot give opinions
I can remember what was said, but cannot hear
I can remember what was there, but cannot see
I can be powerful, yet I cannot lift a feather
I am seen by millions of people, but I do not see them
What Am I?
Once you find the answer you can use it to complete this word puzzle that will tell you the building in which your search should begin.

_ _ _ O _
_ _ T _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Now intrepid Treasure seeker you have surely discovered the building that houses the treasure. You must proceed through its main doors and past the front desk. Do not worry about being stopped; the Keepers of the Desk will certainly recognize you as the Seeker that you are and let you pass undisturbed. There is a main path leading though the building and from this path branch many smaller paths. Take the third path on the left. Stand facing the window. Now rotate 90 degrees to the left. There are many items to choose from and success hangs on the right choice. This math question will help.

Take the number of days in the year + PI (to the second decimal) + the year the mathematician Archimedes was born – the Atomic number of Radon + CCCLXIII.

With this number and the name of the computer in 2001 Space Odyssey you are sure to meet with success! Once you select the item return with it to the loyal Keepers of the Desk. A secret phrase is required for the Keepers to relinquish the treasure.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ as _ _ _ _ _ as a _ _ _ _

The first three words are the sixth, seventh, and eighth words in the first sentence of the first paragraph. The fourth word in this phrase is the word that starts this clue. The next missing word describes the Keepers in the paragraph before this one. The last missing word is the second half of the compound word that is the answer to number 9 in the second puzzle.
Present your item and the secret phrase to one of the Keepers to receive the treasure*. Well done! Please treat the treasure with care and return it to the Keepers before leaving the building. If the item is missing please inform the keepers immediatly!

*The Keepers, while nearly all knowing, have many types of seekers enter their domain. Therefore it may be prudent to tell the Keepers which type of quest you are on.
