The New England Peace Pagoda is located at 100 Cave Hill Rd., Leverett. Pull into the driveway and park in the designated parking lot. From here, it is about a 10 minute walk uphill. Driving all the way up is permitted for the physically disabled.

When you've reached the top, take time to admire the grand white Pagoda in front of you and the NEW temple, on your left.
To get to the letterbox:
At the top of the driveway, while you are facing the Peace Pagoda, walk to your right. Cross, or walk around, the pond, to the site of the OLD temple.
Stand at the bottom of the steps, on lotus tile, facing the OLD temple entrance. Now, turn around 180 degrees, and take 8 paces towards the woods. This brings you to the start of a path. Walk 50 paces on the path until you arrive and a circular clearing. (As of today, there are benches and a sun dial in the clearing.)
Look to your left. You will see a double trunk oak tree. Just past it is another oak tree, single trunk. At the southwest base of this oak, there is a nook covered by rocks and leaves. Remove the rocks and leaves to find the letterbox!
Please cover the Peace Pagoda letterbox up with leaves and rocks before you go. Thanks!
