Pay the nominal fee and park in one of the first two parking areas. Take trail number 141 heading east until you come to the first trail intersection. Stay straight on the now much narrower trail for a short distance. You will see a chair-shaped memorial rock. Back track about 15 steps. You will see a roundish rock about 3 feet in diameter sticking out of the earth, tucked against a juniper tree. This rock and tree are on the south side of the trail. The letterbox is under a much smaller rock on the south facing side of this rock.
Please make sure to fully re-hide this box with the rock and some leaf litter and little braches.
