Jack was such a sweet dog in this life β we know that his spirit is enjoying this special spot!
Park in the lot in front of the Bud Kearns Memorial Swimming Pool (off Upas Street, 2229 Morley Field Drive, San Diego, CA 92104). Walk south on the sidewalk between the pool entrance and the tennis courts (pool on your left, tennis courts on your right). Then cross the grassy field and find the sidewalk to the left of the two big palm trees. When you get to the hop-kick exercise sign, you are βon the right track!β Follow the sidewalk going to the right until it ends. Take the dirt path that veers to the right. Count 19 wooden posts. At the 19th wooden post, take the somewhat steep path up the hill to your left. The letterbox is hidden at the top in a bush by the chain link fence. Turn around and check out the view! The Jack Memorial Letterbox overlooks the dog park. Enjoy it!
