The Quivering Branch Letterbox is in Belchertown's library, aka, Clapp Memorial Library. The library is named after John Francis Clapp who gifted the library to the town in 1887.

The library hours change from time to time, so it is best to go to the library web site, http: //www.clapplibrary.org/ to look for accurate business hours.

Currently (05-01-15) the hours are:
Monday and Friday: 10AM to 6PM
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10AM to 7PM
Saturday: 9AM to 1PM
Sunday is closed

THE CLUES:
(First, a disclaimer: This box has no religious agenda.)
To find the letter box you will need a King James Bible (I do not think the clues will work with another version of the Bible.) If you do not have access to the King James Bible, you can find it on line or at the library,
(220.5203 HOL).

First, go to Psalms 46. Once you’ve found Psalms 46, count down 46 words. Write down the word you've found. Go to the end of Psalms 46 and count backward 46 words, (excluding the the last word, "Selah" if it's in your book). Write the word down next to the first word. You should have an author’s name. Go to the section where this author's books are shelved. Take down some of the author's larger books. Behind those books you will find The Quivering Branch. Clapp yourself on the back for a job well done.

8/22/12: I've had two reports that the Clapp Letterbox may be missing....sad.
In the Quivering Branch Letterbox is the clue to find the Clapp Letterbox. (You may have to look around the library to find the risers).

Please make sure the box is fastened shut when you rehide the letterbox.
