Boxing the Net, Part IV

Please continue where Wanda and Pete’s Net III ends for five more boxes.

You will come to a very obvious “horse tree” on the right, with seating for 10-15! Look in the hollow of its network of roots for the “Network” letterbox.

After the (third, I think!) stone crossing of the river, with a swamp now on your right, just past a beech tree with blue on both sides, look for another long log (notice a theme here?) up to the left. “Fly” over it, to the stump end, where you will find the Butterfly Net letterbox. Re-hide carefully, as there is a fire pit nearby that may get some use.

Pass an unusual rock formation on the left with its own “window.” Proceed a bit further just past a blue cross trail (marked with blue Xs) and see a bridge up ahead. Just before that bridge note two long downed trees on the left; safely look behind a trapdoor rock in front of them for the Safety Net.

Eventually you will come to a major intersection; there will be a concrete boundary marker on the right corner. Behind it you will see a rock with a long leaning log touching it. Look in back of the rock, under smaller logs for the Volleyball Net letterbox.

Head right, where, as of 12/2011, there are now red flags but no more blue blazes. This eventually may only be a feeder trail for the NET, and it heads out to Sullivan Drive where you may have parked a second vehicle. Come to a stone wall on the right. Opposite its end there is a long log, stuck about three feet off of the ground. In front of it and behind a trap door rock of sorts is the final box, Net Worth. I hope you decide that this jaunt was worth it!
