Parking for trailhead:
Park in the Bluff Head parking lot on Route 77 in Guilford. You will see a sign for the New England Trail (NET) and the Mettabessett Trail.
Clue:
Carefully cross Route 77 and head easterly on the Mettabessett Trail for 1.3 miles to the intersection with the Menunkatuck Trail. Turn right onto the Menunkatuck and watch on your right for a trail leading to a pond. Turn right onto the pond trail and almost immediately notice a large slab-type rock on your left. Behind and to the right/middle is the Menunkatuck Duck.
Continue on to find other wonderful boxes celebrating the NET or turn around to return to your car.
